2026 Optimist Club of St Louis Art Contest
Optimism in Art: Joy for St. Louis Seniors
The Optimist Club of St. Louis, proud members of the St. Louis community since 1916, is thrilled to announce the launch of our annual Youth Art Contest! We are challenging young artists to embody the spirit of Optimist Day (February 5, 2026) and share their hope through art.
Why We Celebrate Optimist Day: Optimist Day is an annual worldwide celebration held on the first Thursday of February, where we encourage everyone to embrace positive thinking and take action to make the world a better place. Through this contest, we are channeling that optimism into community service.

This is the perfect winter break project! We are offering substantial gift card prizes for the top three winners in each of our four grade-based categories:
- Primary Group (K-3rd Grade): 1st Place: $250 GC, 2nd Place: $150 GC, 3rd Place: $50 GC
- Elementary Group (4th-6th Grade): 1st Place: $250 GC, 2nd Place: $150 GC, 3rd Place: $50 GC
- Middle School Group (7th-8th Grade): 1st Place: $250 GC, 2nd Place: $150 GC, 3rd Place: $50 GC
